If You Had the Power

If given power would you abuse it or use it to include, work for the imbalance to be removed, help the weak the way people helped you, and they did help you, they didn’t have too, now what do you do, do you reach your hand down or do you refuse enjoy your perch and the panoramic view reached because other allowed you the chance to improve, now you’re the powerful they judge you true so open the doors you walked through, gift the opportunity to somebody new, upset the status quo let the establishment know, Or do you take power forget and let go, turn a blind eye to discrimination below the isms and stereotypes and all that’s on show embracing your status for self righteous greatness loving yourself surrounded by hatred abusing that power disgraced in fakeness a shallow person self celebrated Why don’t you do what others need you too why not pursue a fairness pursuit Cus we all came from Africa we all got this far, you can be part of the process or one to discard, look at the big picture and see who you are, you can use both your head and your heart, don’t let the power and struggle depart, do people favours, those closest were strangers, people put you here, keep people near, power shows how you really appear!
