If You Had a Fatal Illness

If You Had A Fatal Illess Would you go out and dance? Or perhaps, kick people in their pants? Hurt them, because you are dying and not they? Yes, be honest, you wish it was them, that they die without further delay. After all, you consider them far inferior to you! You're angry as hell, that they are not dying fast enough for you. This is no way to live or die happily in peace. Give up the haughtiness! After all, we all are but daughters and sons in God's masterpieces, yes? And most cherished ones on this planet. So, get out there and love and bless. Living each hour in happiness. November 27, 2019

G'day Panagiota ... a diagnosis as in your verse is a bit like being hit with a baseball, yet we all know that with life, death is coming, but we don't want to know when. This can cause many emotions, but your advice is great - thank you Panagiota - Lindsay

We all are on a death clock. Age is meaningless. Anything can take us out in seconds. So ill or well we don't know when our last breath is, but it is an inevitability. Think of those huge plane crashes with people of all ages! Today may be my last. I just do the best I can. Panagiota xxx thank you, Lindsay

life and death have nothing to do with who is deserving... most unfortunately. Well done, Panagiota.

You are sooo right. I saw a very young child in a casket with a teddy bear.it tore me in half... Though years ago, I can still see him, I know we go to be with God in a far better place..... Panagiota xx

interesting thoughts, it makes one ponder, many illnesses are fatal, eventually, like diabetes (i have) and cancer (took my mother) but one must not take their frustration or anger out on others, we only have one life to live, we need to live it fully... peacefully... the world would be a much better place if all thought like you... wonderful penning... :) hugs

Sandra~ a thoughtful response. Bless you this holiday. I am far from perfect, Sandra. Ask my daughter-)) Orry about your Mom and your diabetes. Many poets here have illnesses yet pen, with great beauty. Thank you, Panagiota xx
