If You Can'T See My Mirrors

If you can't see my mirrors
I can't see you
Learn to stay back
So we both have a view




No I don't need an accident on my hands
I 'll be observant as possible
But you've got to understand
If you're in my blind spot
I won't see you
I'm not a mind reader
Don't make me feel blue




So don't take chances
If you're not sure
Staying close beside me
By the passengers door




No don't ever cross 
In front of my path
It's a stupid manoeuvre
And it might be your last




So to all the cyclist
This is what I say
It's a truck drivers nightmare
Just to get through the day
We will respect each other
out on the roads
But if you can't see my mirrors
Just make sure you're on show
Where a bright viz orange or yellow

There are so many tragedies on the roads Kevin - I wish it was compulsory for cyclists and motorbike users to wear high visibility clothing. You can imagine what it is like here on the Isle of Man with the TT races being held here - a mecca for bikers a potential nightmare for car drivers - great write a 7 from me:-) Hugs Jan xx

Hi Jan, Yeah' you can say that again bikers are the worst, in London you have to be extra vigilant. Because they will take unnecessary risks!!! And the amount of accidents that could be avoided, lets hope that drivers are taut to be more aware this includes everyone one on the road. Thanks for your comments they are appreciated. Are you a truck driver Kevin? .... Many on the road have are offensive minded and are aggressive.... You always need to drive defensively

Its all about respect and discipline to follow rules when We are on the road..Cyclists,drivers and pedestrians..Yes We have to be careful to avoid accidents..Wisely penned kevin : )
