If Words Can Kill

Sticks and stones can break my bones but words can't hurt me.
I can always call your bluff.
If i can kill you with just words, then I'd be happy.
Because my action does not kill you fast enough.

I've been working on myself, and doing something. Another hobby, in disguise.
When I'm finished with the something that I'm doing.
I'll have you paralyzed and choking on your lies.

Now I'm on a perfect streak of stunning victory.
Great and small, i conquer monumental tasks.
I can't help but feel like living is a victory.
Cause im not worried how long this feeling will last.

I take a final look at everything I've been through,
And then i turn to all the goals i have achieved.
Looking back, this wouldn't seem like where I came from.
But God, i'm glad I finally got the chance to leave.

Of course there's still plenty of people who still hate me.
They see me on TV and shake their fist.
Despite the fact that they may or may not have known me.
They're trapped in my world they barely do exist.

But even friends i've left behind congratulate me.
Even after I raked my happy memories in the mud
When i was in the dark, plotting and scheming.
So i shed a tear and give them a big hug!

The past floats in my mind from time to time,
Long after both friends and enemies have passed away.
I thank you, dear doubter, for saying one wrong thing.
Because that word had changed the world, and it's mine today.

I creep slowly throw the hall and take it easy.
I go outside and buy a few more things I like.
I go home and go to sleep, i feel I've earned it.
O Death, come when you may! I have won my fight!

Sticks and stones can break my bones but words can't hurt me.
I can always call out your lies.
If you can kill one with just words, then good for you, friend.
But your actions make your foe suffer for life!
