If We Can See Change
If life could have been written before the creation of man then what would be told?
If man did not need warmth nor shelter would man still live in the cold?
If Heaven was to remain open to all to embrace; then would Hell finally shut it doors and stay
close?
If I was never to confess my love; then with you would you ever truly know?
If we could have taken a time travel and revisit our past; then what would you change?
And if you made that connection to your past would your present status still be the same?
If the Lord were to arrive today would you truly be saved?
If you answered no, then why is it taking you so long to behave?
If gas prices were to spike higher than before then what would be the means of your
transportation?
If we’re one of the richest countries in the world then why is it that we’re lacking so much on
our kids’ education?
And if we can send a man to the moon, then why can’t we create a proper rehabilitation
system to keep ex cons from going back behind bars?
If we lived in a nation that supported a stronger economy & education then probably those in
the Midwest and surrounding cities would then have high paying jobs?
If Hip-hop is the new voice of this generation then why don’t the lyrics make any sense
anymore?
And if these rappers are claiming to make so much money, then why do the communities
where they grew up in still remain so poor?
If we are to be a nation that believes in a better tomorrow, ending this everlasting war, and
eradicating all of our socialist drama,
And if that’s truly the case my friends, join me now and placing your vote and elect your
candiate for President as I have chosen Barrack Obama!
