If Was a Boy
If I was a boy or a man I would be a one woman man
Listen to her and try to understand
Hold her close when we sleep at night
And talk out our problems without a fight
I would cherish the time we spend together
Even through the stormy weather
I would tell her how I feel about her everyday
In my heart is where she would stay
I wouldn't lie or run around and cheat
Or be at the bars or hang on the street
I'd be there for her day and night
She would be the apple of my eye or my morning light
I treat her like she was a queen
And make sure she knows shes everything to me
