If This Love Takes Me To the Sunset

If this love takes me to the sunset I hope you’ll walk along with me ‘til there To have you closer until the twilight For your love shall be my only chandelier. When you’re still chasing for the rainbows Adoring its hues for such beauty and gay Our dream shall be like flower in the meadow Cancelling the rigors we face each day If this love takes me to the sunset Surpassing the challenges we have been through Our walk maybe downhill or to the summit Your smile sustains me further as we go. When at times our steps get halted Believe that things will be just fine And if the world sees me unwanted To me, may you remain faithful and kind. If this love takes me to the sunset Soon I can savour life’s final goal As heaven’s angels blow their trumpets I shall be ready for my Master’s call. When these sunken eyes of mine are closing And you can hear my breath no more Do not bereave for I am heading To an entrance called Heaven’s Door. If this love takes me to the sunset Stay as closer and hold me tight. . . Date & Time of Writing November 26, 2011 5:15pm – 5:43pm
