If These Walls Could Talk

If These Walls Could Talk If these walls could talk they would tell of some stories, about how there were wars fought through battle and glory. If these walls could talk about a many mother and child, losses that were from birth others grown to be wild. If these walls could talk about Native Indians and their friends, drinking and fighting, once in a while but, friends to the bitter end. If these walls would talk about horses being rode by cowboys, shooting up the entire town was something, they did enjoy. Copyright Cynthia Jones

Sometimes, I wish that walls could talk...then again, if so, would they ever hush? I enjoyed this immensely.

So simple yet still extravagant. What conclusion should I arrive at? What do talking walls try to say? Make sure things done are always my way. More poems I write will eventually know my ability will always grow and grow. Jim Horn
