If the World Was Ending

What will u do if the world was ending one day
Rush for the survival or look for the other way
Will u run with the stampede
Even though you know you will bleed

Or will u just rest at ease
And say "I just want some peace"
Will you hug your dearest
And promise to love them back sincerest
Cause at the end
What's the point in living a life in vain

The bible says those in Christ will not experience all this doomsday scenario but will be taken up before in the rapture. Just by receiving Jesus into your heart and asking for forgiveness and reading your bible and learning of his love for you and commandments you will never suffer in what is coming I feel as soon. Be blessed Komal and know you are loved by Jesus Christ of Nazareth...

Heya Komal, have you seen the movie (Melancholia) directed by Lars Von Trier, I think the ending is a beautiful and uplifting way, to see out the end of the world, your poem reflects this quite brilliantly, cheers David

Such a thought provoking write. You're right, no sense in trying to survive. Hold dear ones so close, and feel the love. This is tender and emotional, all at the same time. Many wonderful blessings to you, Komal. Hugs, Brandy

Nice penning Komal, with good rhyme and flow with really good imagery too. This also poses such an important question which we must all be sure to be ready when God calls us. Blessings always,Gordon
