If the Lord Had Not Been On Our Side

If God Has Not Been On My Side... 

I have cried louder than an
ambulance
friends and family had kept a distance
to this somebody might then
relate
when you lose hope and even
faith
not knowing whether or not to pray
not knowing to God what really to say
I lost weight and they said I was sick
not knowing I was not sick but weak
inside I was bleeding and I was
hurting
my everyday meal was always stressing
I could not get enough sleep at night
knowing that nothing was going right
one day I said a prayer to Father-God
to provide me with a helpful method
He gave me a simple one called strenght
that will keep me until a greater extent
now look at me I have become strong
I can even sing a beautiful alleluia song
"If God Had Not Been On My 
Side"
all these blessings could 
hide.
