If Our Love Should End

If our Love should end 
Will you still be my friend 
Will you cry for me 
Like I would For you 
Please don’t lie tell me what’s true

Will you stay by  me forever 
Or will you leave me here 
Like the man I once held dear 
Never again to hold me near 

And will I waste another two year 
Fighting of a thousand tears 
Feeding my enticing fear

What would you do 
If our love should…end

Just hearing a loved one confess his feelings are not there anymore can break the trust causing "a thousand tears" to be shed.
