If only you knew

If only you knew how my heart skips a beat
The moment you walk through the door
If only you knew how I watch you sleep
And I'll do it a thousand times more

If only you knew how the air leaves my lungs
Whenever I know you aren’t near
If only you knew how I'm lost without you
And I long to keep you right here

One day when you're grown
You will let you heart go
To another
And then you will know
