If Only It Wasn'T Me

The long sleepless nights,
The swollen teary eyes,
The deep pain inside,
If only it wasn't me.
The lonely days,
Sweet memories faded away,
Sad sorry ways,
If only it wasn't me.
The deep dark thoughts,
The long lonely walks,
All lifes hard knocks,
If only it wasn't me.
The secrets,
The dreams,
The evil things,
If only it wasn't me.
The stressful nights,
The endless fights,
When will it be alright?
If only it wasn't me.
The pain, the tears,
The stress, the fears,
The long hard years,
If only it wasn't me.
