If Only If We Were Together

In the dark,
I live and die;
Feel the emotions
Inside

Keep them there
Do not tell
Who could care
I'll go to hell

But a light keeps
Shining through
And emotions seep
Into you

Do you feel it,
This feeling in me?
What is it that
You cannot see?

Is it true?
Is it right?
Can I see you
Tonight?
All I have,
All I am
Is in these words;

If only I could say them
To you

Yes, the frozen self, which seems to be what ego demands, fear of rejection. Round and round but no release. That's what I'm getting. I like this one, Alexz. Thanks for reading my alcoholic thing. Years ago I was probably going through what your dreamer is going through. Love, daver
