If Only I Knew
if i only knew
that it would be my last time
last time tucking you in
hugging you and kissing you
telling you how much i love you
holding you in my arms
kissing your sores when you get hurt
spoiling you when daddys not around
taking you to school in the mornings
then picking you up in the afternoons
taking you places you need to go
sharing all the laughter and smiles with you
listining to you tell me how your day was
telling me about any new friends youve made
telling me about any new guy your dating
if only i knew then i would
of treasured those times a little more than what i did
