If Only I Could Go

If only I could go
where no one would know
about where or who I am.

If only I could go
where the wind gently blows
like my mother's hair in the wind.

If only I could go
where it is peaceful and tranquil
and doubts melt like lemon drops.

If only I could go
To an amazing kaleidoscope
of colour and joy.

If only I could go
where my spirit can run free
like a wild horse in the west.

If only I could go
where no one would know
about where or who I am.
-Millie Cooper.

Thank you. It took absolutely ages! ( and I was bored during English)

I believe many of us feel just like this at times. Nicely crafted Millie.

Thank you very much Chris. It is for a competition at school, the John Betchman Cup and I am going to enter this, so I am glad you like it
