If Only
If only you knew what I've been going through
If only you would have been there
I'd pour out my heart but only for you
If only you'd act like you care
If only you would ask how was my day
and greet me with a nice smile
You'd find that good things might come your way
If only you'd show love once in a while
If only you would sometimes be kind
Instead of always being so cold
A happier life you just might find
before you have come to be too old
If only I knew then what I know now
things surely would not be this way
I'd live my life like I know how
instead of dry gloomy and grey
