If Only
If only you were here,
To stand right by my side.
If only I could hold,
Your hand tightly in mine.
If only we could stand,
And watch the sand roll with the waves.
If only you could make,
This day my perfect day.
If only distance wasn't there,
To try and keep us far apart.
If only I could tell you that,
I love you with all my heart.
