If Only!

If only I could work up the courage to say,
the thoughts that go through my mind every single day.

If only one person could understand how I feel,
they would know that to me my thoughts seem so real.

If only I could face the world with no fear,
I will believe that my suicide is no longer near.

If only I would have been a better mother and wife,
I wouldn't of had to go this far and finally end my life.

repentance it the thing that makes better mothers and wives. jumping out a window is retreating, quiting, refusing. not paying. is there a period behind the words bad mother and bad wife or can the meaning be changed?

Writing is healing and as a reminder we are all our own worst critic. We often judge ourselves even more harshly than we judge others in our lives. You express emotion so well in your writing.
