Si ma chérie
m'aime vraiment
Elle m'aimera toujours
If, my darling
truly loves me
She will always love me
If, my darling truly needs me;
She shall never bid me fare-thee well
She will always love me for me
She loves me so this I can tell
If, my darling truly loves me
If my darling sparingly rings the bells
Holds me gentle in her dreams
She loves so this I can tell
