If Life Was But a Dream

If life is but a dream
the clouds would be whipped like cream
children would never scream
and suffering would not be

If life was but a dream
the people would all sing
julia roberts would be my queen
and true love forever be
but life is not a dream

the willows they would dance
as the wind warms up the band
we would take each others hand
writing day dreams in the sand
tell me how our hearts will never break
and the the world wont ever shake
if life was just a dream
