If Life Did Not Have Glitches

If life did not have glitches,
Then of what would we complain?
There’d be endless founts of riches
And no one would be in pain.

All our nervous tics and twitches,
Since they all would be in vain,
Would just vanish, as would itches
And from kvetching we’d refrain.

Though this fantasy bewitches,
In our lives it’s very plain,
We must cope with all the pitches
Hurled, which no one can explain.

I know that some can justify the trials that come with life. But some of us just can't deny, we could do without the strife. So as for all these glitches you so eloquently speak. They're all just son's of ....... to us who may seem verbally week.

A lovely poem with a great idea. When the day starts with a glitch, it stays that way all day. Down time follows. I enjoyed this with a smile.

What is it they say? ‘Life would be boring if it was easy!’ Enjoyed this, Ilene. It leads me to wonder what it would be like to have imperfections…. Say… do you hear someone laughing?

OK. I'll trade you: I'll give you my glitches, and you give me your riches. Fair enough?!

Wow, what great rhymes in this little gem. Ilene! I sometimes use your rhymes in your poems as my second Thesaurus! Hope you don't mind? / Maurice
