If It Was Any Other Way

Wouldn't it be something if we all got what we wanted?
Didn't have to ask or pay, Things didn't have to be so complicated
Because things get hard and all distorted
It would be so much easier if we could all just ignore it
Things get in the way, Or no one ever seems to get enough
Life is so frustrating, time makes it tough
No one feels as good as they seemed to feel the other day
It would be a relief if it was any other way
Society seems to have their opinions on how the world should act and dress
It's everyone for themselves and this world has become such a mess
Making people terrified of the way they get perceived
If it was any other way, they'd feel so relieved
In a world where it's okay for you to talk down to other people just to make them feel so small
This place isn't like it used to be after all
