If I Were Your Man

I'd always wear a smile for you
I'd boast of all the things you do
I'd always listen when you speak
I'd always keep my body sleek

I'd always tell you how I feel
I'd always make your favorite meal
I'd always hold your heart and soul
I'd always help you reach each goal

I'd pray that you'd have peace of mind
I'd always be both true and kind
I would fulfill your every need
I'd help your plans so they'd succeed

I'd always keep the flames afire
I'd give to you your hearts desire
I'd sing and dance but just for you
All of your dreams I'd make come true

I'd care for you when you were ill
Each day I'd make your life a thrill
I'd love you like no other could
I'd do such things none other would

I'd always be right by your side
I'd keep the secrets you confide
I'd take away your hurt and pain
I'd be to you a pleasant rain

I'd do all that I could for you
If I knew our love was true
I'd never make you wait for me
I'd make you want to jump for glee

I'd be so glad for you my lass
Also for a love that last
