IF I WERE YOUR MAN

If I were the moon I would always 
shine bright.
If I were the north star I would be your guiding light.

If I were your bed I would be comfortable every time you lay.
If I were your man I would love you in 
every way.

If I were a servant I would wait on you everyday of the week.
If I were your best-friend I would be there 
in time of need.

If I were a bodyguard I would protect you 
with my life.
If I were your man I would ask you to be 
my wife.

If I were rich I would buy you whatever your heart desire.
If I were a poem I would set your soul 
on fire. 

If I were an artist it would be you 
I mostly adore.
If I were your man I would give you the world and so much more.
