If I Were a Snowflake

If I were a snowflake, I would want the world to know, That I am the prettiest solid form of H2O. If I were a snowflake, I would dance all around, In the sky as the force of gravity pulls me down. If I were a snowflake, I would be glad to say, That no other flake would look like me, Because we snowflakes have our own identity. If I were a snowflake, Sadly, I would only be around for a while. If I were a snowflake, I would to travel to every town, To magically turn kids and adults frowns into smiles.

Snowflakes are magical, Nicole. This is a beautiful poem. It makes me want to go out and buy one of those clear snowy globes with a beautiful scene so I could shake it and see snow anytime I wanted to... It doesn't snow in Florida very often (Once in 10 years, MAYBE!) I KNOW WHERE TO GO FOR SNOW, THOUGH!!! Big smiles... always. Dane Ann
