I would try not to gloat at the mortals so odd, Singing a little ditty, hymn, or song I would hear their keen mortal prayers flying by So I would sing louder in a drowning out way I would intentionally not notice the ones who cry Focusing on other gods on the Bifrost today Puffed up, knowing we are all the best of the best These mortals would not steal our thunder, Walking proudly and glorified, two or three gods abreast, We would barely think of those left down under.
