If I Should Die
In my Dream..................
there is a light as bright as the moon
coming straight down from the sky.
My body is trembling like a child
as rain falls down from my eyes.
I understand that if it’s my time to go
but I wouldn't want to leave.
Leaving the one I love most would
really break my heart.
I promised him forever and ever
and never will we be apart.
So.....................
If I should die tonight
will you wait for me ?
Is asking for eternity just too long,
if tomorrow I never see.
Because I would wait for you
no matter what the cost.
I can do without paradise
but without you, I’d be lost.
