If I Saw You

If I saw you,
like a stampede, it would crush me
If I saw you,
my heart would break again 'tis true
with a smile, tears you would not see
one good bye kiss, I'd set you free
If I saw you

Thanks, Rhonda, for your kind comment re my poem. This poem seems to be about a lost love. It's a shame we get our hearts broken at times. Love, Maureen
