if i lived

if i lived in a mirror world
my name would be sukram
my sis would be known as orb
and I would be her sis
my mum would be my dad
and my dad would be my mum
mum would still be spelt mum
and dad would still be spelt dad
the first would be last and the last would be first
the front would be back and the back would be front

i would write with my left hand
while my watch would be on my right
i would watch a book and read a movie
and would sit on my bed before going to sleep on a chair
i would put my shoes on my head
and a wear a hat on my feet
i would count back from one
and the clocks would tick backwards
i would buy old things to replace new things
but my mate bob would still be known as bob

noon would still be spelt noon
but would be in the middle of the night
while the sun would rise at night and set in the morning
and the moon would shine bright during the day
fire would be cold and the rain would be hot
grass would be blue and the sky would be green
the birds will fly west for summer
and return during winter
i would read directions from a pam
and map would be my girl

if i lived in a mirror world
