If I Had One Wish Contest
If I had one wish, I know what it would be
I would wish for all of humanity to be set free,
Many have afflictions,
Many have additions,
Many are simply oppressed,
While many are chained to depressed,
Most have undeniable fears
Many spend their nights in continuous tears,
While some are haunted by their pasts,
Never letting go, or compensate by living real fast,
Many live in denial,
While painting on their daily smiles,
Many have been hurt by love once before,
Then tightly locked that inner door,
Many question grace,
For in life they have been defaced,
Many choose abusive men,
While others can’t even lend a helping hand,
Many drink there sorrows away,
Worry about tomorrows delay,
Many forgot about unconditional love,
That watches over them from up above,
Many live to deceive,
Real emotions they never had to conceive,
Many overcompensate, just to drown out guilt,
Many are fragmented, there flowers simply wilt,
If I had one wish, I know what it would be,
I would wish for humanity to be set free.
