If I Die

If I die
please don't contest.
It's for the best
I go and rest

For on that day
I'll lose me soul,
you'll gain a hole,
but God will console.

You see, all my pain
He will take
and I'll graciously awake
without mistake

In eternity
to hurt no more,
only Jesus to adore
on that emerald shore.
