If I Could Turn Back Time

If I could turn back time

Your very first kiss was your first kiss goodbye
I never knew it, I focused on your lies
Caught up in the moments; those rarified, joyous times
I lived like I was a king, and you were my queen sublime

Oh, if I could turn back time, I wonder what I'd do
Could I give up this experience, just to forget you?
Some things last a lifetime, some even more
But I believe this love will last beyond the Universe's force

And here I am bleeding, even if you can't see it
My heart is taking this hard, knowing it's a consequence of feeling
Love and danger don't mix well at all; I learned that so hard
And here I am, now, a victim of Fate's path

Why did you allow me to love you?
What was this game you played so true?
Do you enjoy sweet kisses and death wishes?
Are you ever going to share with me the real reasons that we're through?

Oh, if I could turn back time, I wonder what I'd do
Could I give up this experience, just to forget you?
Some things last a lifetime, some even more
But I believe this love will last beyond the Universe's force

Oh, if I could turn back time, I wonder what I'd do
'Cos you were my life; I was so in love with you
