If I Could Tell

I wonder if you know you are
the only girl for me.
I wonder do I tell you
or do I just leave it be?
Your far from me, I’m far from home
this distance makes it hard
to open up, to let you in,
or even drop my guard.

With nothing here but time to think
I start to miss you more.
Just waiting for that special day
to show up at your door.
To verbalize just how I feel
and see how you react.
If its good, I'm moving in
my belongings all ready packed.

I'll get a job, ill start anew
to give you what you need.
For you my dear id work so hard
that all my pours will bleed.
I'd pay the bills, I'll keep you safe
but never hold you down.
I'd lift you up above the clouds
so we could rule this town.
