If I Could Be a Child Again

If I could be a child again childish, funny, playful but my mother only laughs If I could be a child again eager, experimental, inquisitive but the world only laughs If I could be a child again destructive, risky ventures but my maid only laughs If I could be a child again a peeping Tom, a thief-let but my God only laughs Being a child is an amusement life is free, enjoyable, cheap, safe.
