If I Could

If I could take the hands of time turn them back, I would-

I'd be your friend and your lover- the way my heart should.

Atone for hurting your heart- give you a brand new start.

We'd begin again.

If I could take the hands of time turn them back-yes I would.

I'd bottle up all your tears-Chase away your troubles all your  fears.

You don't have to cry any more.

For the things that hurt you, If I could I would change it-

Try so hard to rearrange it- We'd start back over again.

But, I'm just one man-who had it all in the palm of his hand.

If I could take the hands of time, turn them back..yes I would.
