If I Could
If I could turn back the hands of time
and teach you how to cope
with things in life your struggling with
I would throw you a rope
I don't know how to help you
I try by being kind
It seem as though the worlds against you.
But thats all in your mind.
The hateful words you aimlessly toss
they cut right to the bone
With this in mind I hate to thank
someday you'll be sad and alone.
I want to reach out to you
but I can't figure out how
I keep praying the Lord will guide me
but I'll keep on praying for now.
