If I Could

IF I COULD HIDE FOR EVER, WOULD MY DREAMS BE
DESOLVED INTO THIN AIR?

IF I COULD LIVE IN MY FANTASYWORLD, WOULD MY
REALITY BE LIVED BY SOMEONE ELSE?

IF I COULD LIVE LIKE MY INNER CHILD, WOULD MY
MORAL VALUES BE DETAINED?

IF I COULD LET MY THOUGHTS REALM FREE, WOULD
MY MIND THEN BE IN ORDER?

IF I COULD FIX ALL THE MISTAKES THAT I’VE DONE, WOULD
MY CONSCIOUS STILL BE THE SAME?

IF I COULD SMILE ALL DAY LONG, WOULD MY MASK
FOOL OTHERS?

IF I COULD HAVE BEEN MORE CAREFUL, WOULD
I STLL BE LEFT WITH SCARS TODAY?

IF I COULD HAVE MADE THE RIGHT CHOICES THEN,
WOULD I STILL BE ON THE RIGHT PATH NOW?

IF I COULD FORGET ALL MY FEARS, WOULD I HAVE
FLASHBACKS?

IF I COULD, I SHOULD
SO THEREFORE I SHOULD FORGET ALL OF THE ABOVE

This one made me smile, as I am sure your soul was smiling as your muse and you were throwing this onto a page in a willy-nilly way, not realizing how important it is to the readers to READ this, and understand it. Nice one! Really smooth, and so true.
