If I Could

If I could trade my breath for you
I'd never breathe again
If you could understand me
I wouldn't have to play pretend

If i had a chance to hold you now
I promise I wouldn't let you go
If you could read my lips
My love for you would show

If I had never met you
My life wouldn't be that same
If my life had a meaning
I would have to speak your name (Jimmy)

If you could look into my eyes
You'd see my dying soul
If you could see my broken heart
You'd see an empty soul

If i had the chance to start all over
i promise to be true
If i could say just one last thing
I'd say "Jimmy I really do LOVE you!!"
