Notes About The Poem
This was inspired by the song "IF I AM DEAD"
If I Am Dead
If I am dead look upwards
during the day I am an
ever changing cloud.
At night I join the moon
as she beams down on you
casting silvery rays.
Watch the birds as they fly
and swoop then soar up high
knowing I am among them.
Each flower you pick and
then sniff reminds you
of my fragrance.
At night when shadows appear
know with certainty that I too
am frolicking in their midst.
Each song playing is joyful
full of meaning so magical
I sing along as I float by.
Do not shed tears for I do
not need them. Not now for
I Am Free and I Can Fly.
