If All the World Made Sense

If all the world made sense, You'd see what's done as done. And never at it look back again. Every single pain would disappear And things that hurt forgotten. The stars would grant you wishes And in the clouds you'd fall asleep. A cup of tea would sooth your worries, A tea time treat your cravings. School would cease to exist, And all the subjects understood. Chasing clouds would never die, Nor that intuition of a child. But in the end only one will suffer. As in this senseless world it lives. Through illusive words it thrives And still remains undefined. The workings of the heart that is, 'Cause only love would suffer If all the world made sense.

Not making sense is the magic of it. Most of what makes sense tends to bore me.

I tend to agree with that, as soon as everything makes sense the world seems a lot less exciting and challenging. But I'm realising this as I grow ^_^
