Idle Daydreams

why
     must
            we

watch life
      as

it
 slips
        on
           away,

never to
return

unto
     those
             fast
                  passing

long lost
 days...

perhaps
             we've
                    been

staring
 far too
  long

into
     the
         wrong
                  sun,

blistering our
 very souls

in idle
daydreams
