Idle
I am weary, far too dizzy
My eyes are straining from blinding light
All too wary, getting blurry
But my eyes stay open, I’ve only my sight
I am dying, always lying
I bury myself in masquerades
Like the corpse of someone trying
I have incentive but can’t persuade
Disposition of indecision
I need to find something that is real
Dying for this endless mission
I dance around and plague all I feel
I am falling, tired of crawling
Bored of everything I can see
If I’d end it without stalling
I know I’d wake up in another dream
Take me nowhere, give me nothing
But give me everything I need to be
Endless laughter, idle banter
These lies are killing all that is me
Tempt my fear, tempt my anger
Just tempt me not to walk away
Make me suffer, let me love her
I’m asking you god to make me feel okay
Just take this world and make me pay
