Idioms Part 3

8/11/17 During night, morning and afternoon It'll happen often or once in a blue moon In and on any side of the lagoon From January to six months past June Items kept together or strewn No reason to exaggerate We all make mistakes It can't always turn out great And be a piece of cake As Leonard Cohen said "like a bird on the wire" Sometimes I feel like I'm preaching to the choir But I'm not a liar with their pants on fire Just trying to become wiser Certain things I had to take with a grain of salt While on the move or at a halt At times we are the one at fault I can understand the disgust And all the fuss Too many are willing to throw another under the bus For a few extra bucks Among and below the stars Near and far From anything close to or way beyond Pluto and Mars The whole nine yards Whole or in shards
