Identifying Bodies

Identifying bodies
On a show like C.S.I.,
On scars and beauty marks
Or dental fillings did rely.

Our bodies, every one unique,
Have freckles, dots and lines,
Arranged haphazardly in ways
That DNA designs.

Though nowadays the morgue has
More at hand from which to choose,
For it must be much easier
To track down one’s tattoos.

No offence to anyone who feels differently, but I hate tattoos. I haven’t got any and don’t want any. (Who paints over a masterpiece?… ha ha) Basically, they’d identify me as ‘that blank-canvas guy’

Of course criminals do not like DNA because there is no statute of limitations, but let justice be served! Enjoyed, Ilene! Aloha!

One must really be careful on "identifying" these days, as some folks identify themselves as garden tools. LOL We have a female supreme court justice who does not know what a woman is. Great to read you again, Ilene. hoping you are well.

I like this, Ilene. I'd say this is so nowadays. Actually, I'll bet some bodies are identified that way. I know some criminals are caught because of a tattoo in a conspicuous place.
