I'D Rather

I'd rather you still be here
I can't be without you dad
I'd rather be the one to leave
Your the best friend I've ever had
I'd rather give up my soul for you
I'd rather have taken your place
God can we trade please
This must be a mistake
I'd rather be the one to go
You deserve to keep living on
I'd rather be the deceased
I'd rather be the one who's gone
