I'D Like To Be That Poet

I'd like to be that poet  My book upon the shelf, Where each and every reader can somewhat see themself. Some days you may feel gloomy, the darkness moving in  And other days are sunshine days  happness a brightful grin. For those who are stuck in a rut & cannot see the light And those whose life is moving fast, Will only see the night. Read each line of my verses One prominantly stands out The one that catches in your mind,  is the one your thoughts will shout. Those cosy nights of cuddles with either partner or child Together read the poems  Let imagination run wild. You picture each tiny segment of how this poem will be For somewhere in your life time  This poem relates to the. Happy hour of energy,  bursting like a clown,  to music I enjoy the most I always fool around. I sing a verse or two from the song I think I know But some how whoever's with me,  Will sing it how it goes. There's days lied upon the sofa Old movies are the best, When movies were good movies  Where men were smartly dressed. Women with the 60s dresses swishing at the hips, Pretty faces with their hair rolled up pure beautiful red lips. But for now I'm content with writing  It's always been my passion, Just as Versace the designer, has his very own brand fashion. So one day I'd like to be that poet My book upon the shelf After successful  years have passed me by I can congratulate myself.
