I'D Carry You Round the World
If I could carry you round the world
you'd be here in my arms,
and I'd be softly serenading you,
with my tender loving charms.
I'd carry you away
right into the setting sun,
then I'd lay you down beside me,
for some evening loving fun.
I'd pick you right back up,
and carry you into the early morning dawn.
I'd keep on carrying you right away,
until all strength is gone.
With my back about to break,
I'd tumble with you in my arms.
Then I'd softly serenade you,
with more tender loving charms.
I would carry you off to Vegas,
to make you my sweet loving wife.
I would do this everyday
for the rest of my life.
If I could carry you round the world
you'd be right here in my arms,
I'd be softly serenading you
with my tender loving charms.
I would carry you everyday,
right unto the end of time.
I'd do this happily everyday,
as long as I'd know you'd be forever mine.
