Oh, yes, they are very sharp and if want falls on your head it can pierce the scalp. Very dangerous!

Fascinating to see them dripping away, reminding us they are the one murder weapon which melts away before the cops arrive . . . . .

Yep. They never hold up in court. Didn't someone use one as a murder weapon in a classic murder story. I think so; can't remember. Thanks for your read and comment, Rico.

This set the vision and chill so completely that I was sent quickly back to my off-campus apt. in PA Allegheny Mts, where the roof over our porch was overhung with icicles measuring inches to forming ice rails of 4’ joining the gutter at roof edge to the handrail running around sides of porch. unforgettable!Love this poem and icicles.Thanks for the memory! :) xo

…and when did my husband choose to go to breakfast…right after a great ice storm. The icicles were hanging everywhere. But I didn’t marry a boring man…lol!
