I-Am-You

Your name is inscribed in my heart
like the stamp of a timeless tattoo
that will stay forever, never apart,
because I truly love you.

I have not ever felt so strongly
for anyone else in my life before.
I have not followed so endlessly,
anyone, anytime, yeah, I'm sure.

At times, I feel I may forget to breathe
when I am lost in your thoughts divine
but I know earthly people will not believe
this mysterious and mesmerizing misery of mine.

Sometimes I feel like bringing you
to my place, in my life— just everywhere!
But foolish I am and ignorant too
that you are already present here.

The mirror that hangs in my wall
shows more of you & less of me,
the roof-top, the windows and things all
depict your omniscience unmistakably.

And they also portray—very clear—
my madness & my love too;
from my head to the interior:
I am you—yes—I-am-you.
